1. About us
Pure Joy by Maria Elena (purejoycosmetics.com) is a handcrafted natural and organic cosmetics brand based in Koolwijk, the Netherlands. [Insert KVK number and VAT number once registered.]

2. Products
All products are handmade in small batches using natural and organic ingredients. Because each batch is handmade, slight variations in colour, scent, and texture between batches are normal and not considered defects. Full ingredient lists (INCI) are provided on product labels and on the product page.

3. Orders and payment
Orders are confirmed once payment is received in full. Prices are listed in EUR and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors before an order is shipped.

4. Shipping
Orders are shipped within [X] business days from the Netherlands. Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout. We are not responsible for delays caused by the courier or customs once the parcel has left our hands.

5. Right of withdrawal (14 days)
As a consumer in the EU, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving a reason. To exercise this right, contact us at [email] within 14 days.

Exception: for hygiene reasons, this right does not apply to opened or used cosmetic, skincare, lip, or yoni care products once the seal or packaging has been broken. Unopened, unused products in their original packaging can be returned.

If you withdraw, you must return the item within 14 days at your own cost (unless the item is faulty), in its original condition. We will refund the purchase price, including original shipping costs, within 14 days of receiving the return.

6. Cancellations
Orders can be cancelled free of charge as long as they have not yet been shipped.

7. Allergies and patch testing
Our products are made with natural plant-based ingredients, which can still cause allergic reactions in some individuals. We recommend doing a patch test before first use. Always check the full ingredient list on the label. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

8. Health claims
Our products are cosmetics intended for external use and general wellbeing. They are not medicines and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. Always consult a healthcare professional for medical concerns.

9. Liability
We take great care in formulating and producing our products to a high standard. However, we cannot be held liable for allergic reactions, misuse, or damage resulting from improper storage or use contrary to label instructions. Our liability is limited to the value of the order.
